Daddy-Daughter Day

Every Saturday Chris and Reilly get daddy-daughter day. I am always excited to see what Reilly is wearing when I get home. This last Saturday, Chris was so pleased at the cute outfit he picked out, but didn't notice that he put her pants on backwards. Hopefully you can tell from this picture....
She loves looking out the screen door!

I also must share my strawberry success as I have over thirty berries growing! My first one is almost ready for picking, and I can't wait to try it.

We Love Food!

Here Reilly is enjoying greek yogurt - PLAIN greek yogurt. She is way braver than I am because I load mine up with honey. We are trying to keep her from sugary things for as long as possible, so we'll see how that goes! Last night we celebrated our third anniversary with copper river salmon, brussel sprouts and couscous. Reilly was a big fan. It's hard sharing salmon with her because she would it all of it if we let her! We have definitely seen our grocery bill go up as well (so we don't get salmon very often). It's only going to get worse from here!
Reilly loves to NOT help me with laundry. This used to be a basket of folded clothes. She likes to do the same thing to her drawers - so instead of folding things every time she gets them out, I've started just throwing them back in. The chances are very good they'll be in the floor within the next ten minutes.
We've got a ten month old! I am late posting but this picture was taken on the first of the month. It's been nine days so she probably looks way different already. She continues to be a very happy, sweet baby.

As for other updates, I have a potted garden! I got a surprise birthday check in the mail last month and I wasted no time in buying the plants I've had my eye on. We have three tomato plants, eleven strawberry plants, basil and oregano. We have over 30 strawberries going right now and one is getting red as we speak! There is only one tomato so far but at least five flowers, so more is on the way! Flowers = food! We are planning on having lots of Ialian food with all our basil and oregano as well. Yum.

Hope all is well for everyone. If you don't live near the Missouri river be praying for those who do!
